My Summer So Far....

Ok since school officially ended on Wednesday May 26, that same day is when I turned in my paper to Dr. Johnson at the last minute of course. That same day I went to my friend Mauricio's house, which by the way my other friend Mario gave us a ride, but I was so worried about turning in my paper that by the time that we went outside Mario's sister had already left, but fortunately she came back around and we all we all felt relief. After I got to Maricio’s house, we were talking about how much we would miss our friends that we came to know more through out the year. So before we left school grounds we promise each other to keep in touched and then we were talking about what would happened to all of us after we graduated? Would we still talk to each other? How would we change? Where would we end up after all we knew suddenly turn into a strange and mysterious world called college. Then we figured that those things are still long ways away and that we first have to concentrate on graduating from high school and then worry about college. To make the long story short we play games, watched movies, and planned ways to keep in touched with each other. On Thursday, I stayed home watching TV and just trying to find ways to kill time before it killed me, but I think time will always win that battle. On Friday, I went to the movies to watch Shrek 2 and I actually thought it was good, I mean if you liked the first one you will probably like this one as well. Then after I got home I was chatting with my friends online, and then about 9 P.M. I called my friend Mauricio and then we made three way with my friend Mario, we literally talk until tomorrow the three of us, Mauricio, Mario, and I. We stayed up talking until like 1:30 A.M. then Mario hung up and Mauricio and I stayed up talking until about 4:30 A.M. Later that day I went to my brother’s house that lives in Arlington and we had a cook out we had fajitas, lemonade, and cake it was good. After dinner, we watched the Matrix Revolutions and I could not help going to sleep. I did not understand that movie at all it was maybe because for most of the movie I was soundly sleep, and I do mean soundly because we had surround sound and the movie was really loud, but by the same token it was so boring to my taste that I felt to sleep. Then on Sunday, my friend Mauricio came to my house this time and we mostly played video games, chatted online, and looked at the 1998 Sunset year book, which belongs to my brother who graduate from Sunset that same year. Then later about 9 P.M. we called our friends Mario (the one who gave us a ride on Wednesday) and Fanny (the only girl who we get along with the most). We just talked about what we had done all this time and we planned a get together which includes Fanny, Mario, and I getting together in Mauricio’s house on Tuesday to relive the old days, but I am not sure if I can go yet, but I hope I can make it. Last, but not least today I am writing this blog to tell you about all the other days in between and if you did not want to know about them to late you already read the whole thing I am so evil. Hey in my defense it took me an hour to write this thing so if you think it was bad reading it try writing it (that is what I thought, no I am just kidding take care everybody and try your best to enjoy your summer vacation/ home school).

As the end approaches....

There is only three days of school left and they are testing days so they are not even whole days. This year was harder than I expected, but I think I made it through ok, gratuation for the class of 04 was yesterday, and I heard that there was a couple of tears droped, tears of joy, tears of sadness, tears of pride, tears that symbolize the end of a chapter in a teenager life, and began another to the road of manhood or womenhood which ever applies. I made some great friends in the class of 04 Maria Perez, Antonio Becerra, Samuel Villareal, Stephane Morales, Jessica Bustillos, and Chris Rodriguez, all of which I met in acadec and had the pleasure of competing with and against them, we had some great times together. Then there were my other senior friends Weston Barnes all I can say about him is he is one crazy white boy, Adam Menghesha, he is one of the nicest and hardest working people I know, Nate Dunlap, he is one of the smartest laziest people I know and Vanessa Cruz, she was nice at times. Anyway all I have to say to the senior class of 04 is thanks for all the great memories we will miss most of you, not all, but most!

Expectations are Greater than Ever!

Hey what is up everybody, so I didn't go to school today and my friend Mauricio came over we watch some movies, order pizza and played some video games, it was fun. Well yesterday was a great day for me we had our rookie draft and I got first pick because my team was the last place team all this year so to even things out they give the last place team the most chips, and the number of chips decrease until you get to the first place team which got seven, second place got eight, third place got nine, and my team got ten. Anyway my picks were rookie sensations Jonathan Vines AKA JV and Angelica Ruiz. I was surprise when I got Angelica because she was still available in the second round, but to top it all of I got some other great picks like Baldamore Rios, Briseida Herrera, and Tonya Arias all of which I expect to play key roles for the white apocalypse's come back from the seller to the top! So now that I got all the pieces in place, I hope I can be a good leader to them and even though there is tough competition if we work together we can achieve great things. Besides I am glad our competition is tough it give us a better chance to go to state and it provides more of a challenge, I have a great feeling about this year not just for the white team, but for the Sunset team as a whole to make it to state. I missed this so much, but the day would soon be here to get back out there and give it our best shot to pull through to the other side of the mountain we have climbed it before, but we had never seen what awaits for us on the other side. So to all the teams, good luck and hope to see most of you during summer practice specially the white team members.

I am back!

Hey everybody I know I have not blog in a long time, but I was just taking a break plus I ran out of things to blog about. Did anyone miss my blog? I doubt it, but I am back once again. Yesterday I watch the highly anticipated friends series finale and I started thinking of all the things that happened during the past ten years and how we all change in some way or another, we become older, wiser, rounder, taller, you get the picture. Then I started thinking about how this upcoming year is my last year in high school and in acadec the class I am going to miss the most out of all of them. That is where I evolve from a lost and confuse teenager to a lost and confuse, but wiser person. It is where I discover that friendship and teamwork is worth more the points and medals. It is where everybody has equal opportunity to succeed. That is where someone actually had enough confidence in me to make me a team captain and be a leader of an entire team! Even though we have not made it to state since we started the program I think this year is going to be a very promising year, we will have to work hard and give it our best shot, but if we work hard enough we will make history and become the first acadec team to ever go to state I will continue later so stay tune!
